Our servicing covers oil and filter changes with the manufacturer-specified oil grade, filters, brake inspection, cooling-system and battery checks, belts, fluids, tyres and a full inspection. Intervals are adjusted for Jamaican conditions: heat, stop-and-go traffic and rough roads count as "severe service" for most manufacturers.

Why oil specification matters on European engines
BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VW Group, Volvo and Jaguar Land Rover engines call for oils that meet specific approvals (for example BMW Longlife, MB 229.x, VW 504/507). The wrong oil may be the right viscosity on the label and still be wrong for the engine, particularly on turbocharged and direct-injection units where deposits and timing-chain wear are the real risk. We use the specification your engine requires.
Jamaican conditions shorten service intervals
Most manufacturers publish a "severe service" schedule for high heat, dusty roads, short trips and heavy traffic. That describes daily driving in Kingston, Montego Bay or anywhere in between. Extended 15,000 km-plus oil intervals designed for European motorway driving are optimistic here. We will recommend an interval that fits how and where you drive.

How often should I service my car in Jamaica?
For most cars, every 8,000 to 10,000 km or every six months, whichever comes first, is a sensible baseline in our conditions, with brake fluid and coolant on the manufacturer's longer cycle. Check your handbook and ask us about your specific engine.
Will servicing here affect my warranty?
Servicing by an independent workshop using the specified parts and fluids, with records kept, does not normally void a manufacturer warranty. Check your warranty terms and keep every invoice.
